Dermatology
Dermatology is the branch of medicine that focuses on the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes. A dermatologist is a specialized doctor who diagnoses and treats skin diseases, cosmetic concerns, hair loss, nail disorders, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) affecting the skin.
Dermatologists treat both medical and cosmetic skin issues, ranging from acne and eczema to skin cancer and anti-aging treatments.
